At its heart Tahbilk is a multi-generational family (the Purbricks’) who are passionate about making great tasting wine. The Estate is shaped by the Purbrick families’ way of life which is focused on simple pleasures, a combination of great wine, food and environment (the people and natural, earthy and historic surrounds).

When people visit the Estate one of the first things they might say is ‘wow, its beautiful here’ or ‘isn’t this amazing’ ‘it must be great to work here’. Overwhelmingly people feel awed by the raw natural beauty of the place, something so unique to Tahbilk.
